Even though the movie was released fourth years after the ending of the TV show, it was immediately a box office hit. However, the movie has generated polemics among the fans of the original TV series and critics.

Many fans did not like the movie and were disappointed. According to them, the movie caricatures the characters and therefore it has nothing to do with the characters of the series. Indeed, the TV show is about sex; in contrast, the movie is a glamorous fairytale. The critics did not find any story line in the movie and they describe it as a longer episode of the TV show.

In spite of the bad reviews, there are also many positive comments on the Internet. I share their opinion. It is a movie to have some fun and have an enjoyable time watching it without much thinking. The movie belongs to the romantic genre and it describes a love story that you can hear from your friend, therefore not that far from reality. The movie is ideal to watch on Sunday night when you don’t have much to do.
